Another Failed Campaign Promise: Biden Didn’t Give Me My New Year’s Kiss

I am absolutely livid right now. I can’t believe we elected such an incompetent man into the most powerful position in the world. Biden promised so much during his campaign in 2020 and now that we’re almost a year into his presidency, he has failed to meet those promises. First he promised to cancel my student debt and then an infrastructure bill to combat climate change and then lastly, a kiss on New Year’s Eve. Well now it’s January 3rd and I have received NONE of these.
First he refuses to save the economy and then he breaks my heart. What’s next, he tells me we can’t move in together anymore? He said there was plenty of room in between him and Jill.
And if I can’t move in then what? I can’t stay out late on Halloween? Biden said I could stay out super late but now I’m not so sure because he can barely commit to any of his other promises.
If Biden can’t do any of these promises, then that means he can’t do the most important promise of all: an all expenses paid trip to Atlantis Bahamas Island Resort and Waterpark. This was one of Biden’s first promises to me that surely won me over in his campaign. Now I don’t think I’ll ever see sharks from the inside of a waterslide.
In 2024, I’m voting for someone whose actions speak louder than words. That’s why I’m voting for none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
