Cute, cuddly, creationist. Surprising yet accurate description for the popular Pokémon Eevee. As it turns out, a burner account linked to Eevee was used to post on the group Christians Against Dinosaurs...which is a real group by the way. Posting under the name “Rash Ketchum,” Eevee wrote “Tyranitar isn’t real. All Tyranitars are just Dittos that have transformed to test our faith.” This news is surprising, considering Eevee is the evolving Pokémon. But hey, we’ve seen weirder shit recently.

The account also posted “Evolution is a hoax perpetuated by so called ‘scientists’ like Professor Oak. All life was created by the great creator Nintendo, and the Pokémon world is only twenty-five years old.” Others in the Pokémon world have been known to have conservative views. Clefairy was on record saying that Nurse Joy should not be providing universal healthcare. Growlithe had posted #backtheblue with a picture of Officer Jenny. And Pikachu was caught at the capitol riot.
