BALTIMORE – Local sources say a Chinese mother, Linda Yee, has worked her way up the corporate ladder at the Macy’s next to the abandoned mall simply by telling employees how to do their job.

“I needed a nice shirt and tie for my homecoming dance so my mom decided to take me to Macy’s,” Linda’s son Albert states, “But as soon as an employee started helping us, Mom started going haywire. She told him to move the shirts and ties to the front of the store because it’s homecoming season. Then she yelled at another employee to turn on the A/C. She even went behind the register and showed employees where to hide the $50 and $100 bills. Apparently every station has a false bottom that no one knows about?”

CEO of Macy’s, Jeffrey Gennette, explained the reasoning behind the promotion.

“Macy’s has been around since 1858 which is around the time when Asians were first discovered. However, there has never been an Asian in a c-suite position,” says Gennette, “I knew as soon as I saw Linda hit the employees so they’d finally do their jobs correctly, she no longer deserved to be a customer BUT my Chief of Operations.”

Despite the big leap in diversity for the company, Linda Yee had some choice words about her new promotion.

“My baby boy just needed a shirt but I didn’t like how the retail worker was treating us. Then I noticed all the other flaws with the business. I’m grateful for the promotion but I just want to pay, with my four coupons, for my son’s shirt and tie so I can leave.”

Yee was later scouted by the CEO of Kung Fu Tea for the way she treated the workers during a lunch rush.
