Bollywood Unveils New Independent Awards Show ‘The Boscars’

For nearly a hundred years, India’s hottest (only) movie-making industry has been pumping out content for aunties and uncles across the globe. Over a thousand films and television shows have aired since the genesis of Bollywood, and fans are eager and frothing at the mouth for more. With an industry as star-studded as Bollywood, there’s only one elephant left in the room, where’s the awards show to match?
Few events internationally have ever mounted as much attention as the decision to hold The Boscars, the first-ever Indian premiere on NBC. The network has yet to confirm this information, but Bollywood’s official press representation pinky-swore contracts have been signed and the agreement is official.
As this event has gained international recognition, only India’s A++ actors and actresses will be attending. These are the few that have already RSVP’d to the gripping two-hour long television event of the season.
Belena Bomez, New Delhi’s princess, will be in the front row, nominated for Best Bupporting Bactress.
Brittany Bears, Mumbai’s matriarch, will be in the third row, nominated for Best Bead Binger in a Bovie.
Bwen Befani, who needs no introduction, will be getting married on stage.
