House Speaker Nancy Pelosi D-Calif., tweeted to clarify her previous statement thanking George Floyd for sacrificing his life for justice that she also wants to “thank Native Americans for sacrificing their lives so we Americans can now have this land. ”
Shortly after Derek Chauvin was found guilty in the murder of George Floyd, Pelosi began frothing at the mouth for the taste of her own foot and delivered a dystopian speech. Once she received backlash on twitter, her other foot started looking tasty.
Here is the thread from her tweet:
“To further clarify my earlier statement, I would also like to thank Native Americans for sacrificing their lives so we Americans can now have this land. You have always been such giving people. You were the original charitable folks that laid down your lives in a genocide, crying out for us to stop – so heartbreaking. But because of you, millions of people get to celebrate your generosity every year on Thanksgiving by eating turkey on the beautiful land you gave us.”
She continued:
“I will do my best to make sure your sacrifice was not in vain for as long as I have this job that pays really well and I get my own parking spot. May you forever be synonymous with the term Native Americans instead of whatever tribe name you used to identify as. That’s the best we can do to be politically correct. I am proud to say I no longer refer to you as Indians. Kids in my America where justice prevails sit on the floor criss-cross applesauce style.”
