NEW YORK CITY – An American man who has never left New York State has reportedly been spending most of his time daydreaming about being a Japanese man in Tokyo, who is dreaming of a life in NYC.

“It must be so cool to be living in Tokyo right now, especially in a place like Shibuya. I see pictures online and can’t help but feel I’m missing out on the crowded walkways and bright, blinding digital billboards advertising some new dystopian nightmare like Coke with coffee,” groaned 29 year old financial analyst Greg Watters. “I mean, Tokyo has it all. Amazing and diverse food options, a bustling corporate landscape, and people who absolutely do not want to talk to strangers. I never see that shit in America,” said an oblivious Watters.

“Sure, if I were a Japanese man in Tokyo, I’d probably wish I was in NYC. At least I’d have free healthcare in that scenario, but instead here I am in Brooklyn. Stuck in a 400 square foot sixth floor apartment with a landlord that takes more than half my monthly earnings,” said Watters.

Later, sources claim Watters was dumbfounded to learn both countries love baseball, which prompted him to consider other cities like Paris.
