Asian Mother Packed 84 Tea Eggs in Case You Get Hungry on 2 Hour Car Ride

OAKLAND, C.A. – A local Chinese mother and avid cook has prepared 84 tea eggs for a car ride lasting 2 hours, even after being told not to pack anything multiple times.

“She got up at 4 a.m. to make this batch of tea eggs and I don’t have the heart to tell her I’m not eating a single one. Also, it’s a two hour car ride, how am I supposed to eat 84 of anything?” said an annoyed teen Benjamin Lin. “I suppose it’s my fault though, I should’ve never said I was hungry on that one road trip we took when I was 8. Now, we’ll always have an excess of food rolling around in the back seat of the car,” said Lin.

We reached out to Mrs. Lin to understand her point of view.

“What happens if he runs into a nice young Chinese girl? The perfect icebreaker is a wet and sticky ziploc bag containing one or two homemade tea eggs. It’s the gentlemanly thing to do,” said a confident Mrs. Lin. “Besides, it’s not like he has to eat them. But if he doesn’t then I’ll know I wasted my time and motherly affection on a son who does not have a single ounce of love for me in his bleak heart. But again, no pressure! I can just freeze them,” said Mrs. Lin

After returning home, the teenage Lin attempted to discreetly discard a McDonald’s bag but was caught by his heartbroken mother.
