Asians actually ABOLISHED Daylight Savings across the entire continent in 544 AD

The age old tradition that is Daylight Savings is a cherished American holiday. It happens once in the fall when commoners rejoice as they gain an hour. It happens again in the spring as their pathetic little capitalist brains are sad because they lose an hour.
However, DID YOU KNOW? Asians actually ABOLISHED Daylight Savings across the entire continent in 544 AD after an unintelligent English merchant docked near Taipei and tried to convert the local population to their culture of Daylight Savings. While it was popular and spread across regions for a brief period of time, all Asians congregated during their National Asian Associations Conference held at the Marriott Hotel in Dubai that year and decided that the funny-talking, pale man carrying many foreign diseases could not possibly know what is best for the continent. The motion to abolish the practice of Daylight Savings was met with resounding agreement.
