Step aside Keto, we’ve got a brand new diet in the mix!

I’m a single mom of 7. I’ve had plenty of experience shedding that extra baby weight, and honestly all kinds of year-round weight, like winter weight, post-divorce weight, and even the Dunkin Donuts diet weight. And honestly, I’ve done all the diets too! From all protein and no carbs Keto, to no sugar Whole 30. Pass! I’ve even done no meat veganism.. Get real! But, I’ve got a surprise for you. Nutritionists and researchers have revealed the next new diet, and it’s called the Mesopotamian Diet. This one is guaranteed to really put a dent in that scale and a little less junk in that trunk. The secret is that it includes three whole meals a day!

I know.. It sounds absolutely unbelievable. “Three whole meals? How does that even work? I’ve never heard of that.” I used to fast intermittently before this, and I was like this “mesopotamian diet” makes zero sense! But I switched to this after I was having fatigue and dizzy spells from my 6th child but now I swear that the Meso diet has cured me! Another plus? This diet is safe for pregnant women, which I am, again! With twins 🙂 God works in mysterious ways.

All my girlfriends that I met through the “Essential Oils for Moms” Facebook group keep calling the Meso diet a farce, but let me tell you what it really is before you make your judgement! According to Dietetics Specialist Dr. Phil, he said it’s important to load up the plate with at least 40% “vegetables.” That’s 40% more from what we know to be true for Keto, and I know what you’re thinking “I’ll have to reference my first born’s baby books to get an idea of a zucchini!” Because this gal right here had to do the same thing!

And I know all the skeptics are out there wondering how good vegetables really are for you, well let me tell you this little unknown secret, they have loads of something called fiber… yes that’s right. No more rock hard pebble-like poops you get from keto or the carnivorous diet (just keto except you replace all the cheese and nuts with meat; does wonders for the gallbladder.) And yes, the three whole meals a day actually sounds like something aliens do, but it’s apparently something commonly done in “Europe.” It’s one of those things that you have to see to believe!

I had all my kids on Keto for a while (obviously intermittent fasting is not healthy for them until age 4), but now that I have them on Meso the doctors are finally saying they’ve reached their goal BMI! And as an added bonus, my kids are able to stay awake for all 6 hours of school! I used to pick them up after about two hours because they were always falling asleep, but not anymore. Check out the Meso diet and leave a reply in the comments below about your favorite “vegetable.” Mine is tomato 🙂
