AUSTIN – A recent viral video posted on Twitter by Asian comic Peng Dang showed Tony Hinchcliffe entering the stage and immediately spewing racial slurs directed at Dang, who introduced him.
Michael Richards, a comic best known for his racist tirade at the Laugh Factory was disgusted.
“That’s just egregious. I mean, come on. That’s too far, man,” said Richards, “I could never hurl racial slurs… at a fellow performer.”
It’s caused multiple cancelled comedians to chime in. Even Shane Gillis jumped in with some friendly advice, “Hey Tony… chill.”
Later that evening, Richards, Shane Gillis and surprise guest Mark Wahlberg were seen giving Hinchcliffe a stern talking to, “Dude don’t you know it’s Stop Asian Hate Month Or Whatever.”
Mark Wahlberg advised Tony, “Better start working out you waifish Keebler Elf. You can only be mean to Asians if you have washboard abs and can star in a Calvin Klein commercial at any given time. No more, no less.”
